You've built a real email business. This is for that.

Olly sent you here, which means I can skip some of what I'd normally say to a cold reader.

You already have a list. It's probably been working. Something about how it's running is starting to feel off.

The situations I see most often

A large list and a measurement problem. Tens of thousands of subscribers, no reliable way to separate genuinely engaged readers from accumulated noise. Decisions get made on list size because there's nothing more precise. The numbers look fine. They feel wrong.

Launches that convert but never compound. You run them, they work, but each one requires the same weeks of setup because nothing was built to repeat. Three years of subscriber data underneath it that nobody can read clearly.

A team where people have become the system. Steps the VA executes that were supposed to be temporary. Automations nobody wants to touch. Critical logic that lives in someone's head and leaves if they do.

The shape of the problem is usually the same: the system was built for where the business was two or three years ago, it's been added to ever since, and nobody can see clearly what's actually driving results.

Most people think they need better emails. Usually they need different architecture.

How I work

When I rebuild a system, I start from the subscriber, not the business. Most email is designed to extract: opens, clicks, conversions. The architecture I build is designed for relevance: the right message, to the right person, at the moment it actually matters to them. The business results follow. They're a consequence of the design, not the starting point.
